Malcolm Kemp has been appointed as Chair of Governors for Broadland High School. Here is what he has had to say, following his appointment:
I have lived in the Broadland High School catchment area for over 30 years and have had children of my own pass through the school. I have been a governor at the school for over 12 years and feel I know the school very well and am well placed to help drive its next phase of development.
I want all parents to feel, as I do, that the school has advanced and helped every student to grow. Broadland High School has a strong track record of academic performance, but is also able to help all students grow in confidence and reach their potential.
Community is a key element in the school’s vision and, for that reason, parents and students alike can be sure that the traditions and values of Broadland High School will be respected and built upon during my time as Chair of Governors. It’s important that the essential character of Broadland, as an inclusive comprehensive school, remains intact as the school moves forward. As Chair of Governors, I want to see the governors, school leaders and all staff working together to help our students reach their highest aspirations.
