In normal times, we are always delighted to welcome prospective students and their parents/ carers to Broadland High Ormiston Academy. Unfortunately, at present we are unable to arrange tours other than in exceptional circumstances, and these can only take place outside of school hours. If you would like to discuss the possibility of a tour, please contact Mrs Sharon Trevatt (PA to the Principal) by phone (01603 782715) or by email [email protected]

Year 6 Admissions

For those considering applying for a Year 7 place in September, unfortunately our usual Open Evening at the end of September/ start of October cannot take place this year. However, we are working hard to put together a range of virtual “e-vents” to give you an insight into our school community without visiting in person. Click here for more information.

Each year we admit 150 students (PAN) to Broadland in Year 7. Our admissions policy can be found here http://www.broadlandhighoa.co.uk/our-school/policies/

In-Year Admissions

It is strongly recommended that you visit the academy before making an in-year admissions application. This will enable you to visit the academy during the day, meet a range of staff and visit some lessons to ensure that Broadland is the right academy for your child.

If you decide to make an in-year application you need to complete a formal application through Norfolk County Council Admissions Services. Further details of how to do this are available at www.norfolk.gov.uk/admissions or you can contact them by phone on 01603 638036. Broadland High Ormiston Academy adheres to the local authority ‘Fair Access Protocol’.
