Admissions

In normal times, we are always delighted to welcome prospective students and their parents or carers to Broadland High Ormiston Academy. Unfortunately, at present we are unable to arrange tours other than in exceptional circumstances, and these can only take place outside of school hours. If you would like to discuss the possibility of a tour, please contact Mrs Charlotte Trevatt (PA to the Principal) by phone on 01603 782715, or by email at [email protected].

Year 6 Admissions

Each year we admit 150 students (PAN) to Broadland High, in Year 7. When the number of applications for admission made is greater than the PAN, applications will be made against the admission criteria shown in the policy. Our admissions policy can be found on our policies page, here.

In-Year Admissions

It is strongly recommended that you visit the academy before making an in-year admissions application. This will enable you to visit the academy during the day, meet a range of staff and visit some lessons to ensure that Broadland is the right academy for your child.

If you decide to make an in-year application you need to complete a formal application through Norfolk County Council Admissions Services. Further details of how to do this are available on the Norfolk County Council, school admissions web page, or you can contact them by phone on 01603 638036. Broadland High Ormiston Academy adheres to the local authority ‘Fair Access Protocol’.
