Year 6 Admissions
For those considering applying for a Year 7 place in September, we hold an Open Evening at the end of September/ start of October each year that provides you with an opportunity to tour the academy and meet with our staff and students. In addition, we also offer an open morning and afternoon during this time which allows you to see the academy in action during a typical day.
Each year we admit 150 students (PAN) to Broadland in Year 7. Our admissions policy can be found here http://www.broadlandhighoa.co.uk/our-school/policies/
It is strongly recommended that you visit the academy before making an in-year admissions application. This will enable you to visit the academy during the day, meet a range of staff and visit some lessons to ensure that Broadland is the right academy for your child.
If you decide to make an in-year application you need to complete a formal application through Norfolk County Council Admissions Services. Further details of how to do this are available at www.norfolk.gov.uk/admissions or you can contact them by phone on 01603 638036. Broadland High Ormiston Academy adheres to the local authority ‘Fair Access Protocol’.
