Proud Moment for School Torch Bearer

Anna and the TorchBroadland High School swimming teacher Anna Mutimer proudly ran a leg of the Olympic Torch relay when it came to Cromer on 4th July 2012.

The honour was bestowed upon her for her years of dedicated service to the children of the Broadland cluster. She teaches swimming to 6-16 year olds, plus tennis, rounders and athletics to KS4 students.

Over 100 Broadland High School children and staff travelled to Cromer to watch Anna as she carried the torch through the town centre.

Head of PE Miss Bullingham said: “She is an inspirational friend, teacher and coach. Her energy and enthusiasm leave colleagues constantly asking how she does it!”
