Norfolk County Council Transport Office have informed us that re-surfacing work will be happening in Hoveton during the week of the 15th January to 20th January. This will unfortunately have an impact on students travelling on any of the three Anglian 123 buses to Rackheath and Salhouse areas.
On the afternoons of Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th and Friday 20th January these three buses will depart from the Broads Tours car Park at 15.20pm. Students will be required to walk independently to this location to catch the bus. As the road works do not start until 9.30am students will be brought to school as usual in the mornings.
If you are not happy with your child making their own way to the buses then please make alternative arrangements on those afternoons. Alternatively students can stay at homework club at the school until 4.30pm if you would prefer to pick them up later. Please contact the student centre if you would like this facility.
Please ask your child to walk directly to the buses to ensure they arrive safely and on time and explain the need for respecting members of the community on their route. We will also explain this to students.
Any complaints or concerns should be directed to Norfolk Travel and Transport Services who have made the above arrangements.
