On Wednesday 29th June four students from Broadland High School competed in the annual ‘Super Physics’ competition hosted by King Edward VI school in Bury St Edmunds. In the competition, organised by the Institute of Physics, students had to complete investigations which included using light sensitive electrical equipment and neodymium magnets. The day concluded with a spectacular ‘fire tornado’ and flying vortex’s of smoke demonstrations.
Our students were excellent representatives of Broadland and their hard work paid off when they achieved a top 10 finish. An excellent result and we will aim to build on this next year.
A huge congratulations goes to Emma Price, Lekeisha Lean, Harrison Townsend and Pierre Loiez.
